an original poem by Joshua Brown

Uruguayan malinois

Pressuring millenials

To broadcast perrocracy

Into democratic lands

Pupperoni pizzas

Peering out windows

Watching the shootout

Between noble Wag gangs

Ripping panties

Into tiny shreds

Moist sewing hands

Recreate breeding sheets

What is in here?

A wandering Waldo

Observing red stripes

From a crowd of canines.

Animals prancing

Absolute gambling

A casino full of furries

That identify as humans.

Pregnant monogist

Protecting litters innocent

Taught to murder predators

By wolves.

Thanks for reading "Predomestication" which was written on March 15, 2023 while returning from a short street photography session in Arvada, Colorado, United States, North America. Of course, I also recommend checking out my last published poem, "Into the Colors" which was inspired by my observance of the celebration of the Hindu holiday, Holi, or Dol Jatra. It looked like a lot of fun and made me reminisce on the time I spent in the Independent Fundamental Baptist culture.

I appreciate you stopping by and look forward to seeing you in the comments or supporting my work!

Much love. ❤️
