Instant cruelty a lash against compliment,

Or else I could have chosen silence

Some form of manipulative currency

Against the women who desire me

Not as if I was some human with soul

But merely for that dramatic incursion

Into the brutal realism of female view

Stupid romantic cunt I am to be nice

These mortal assumptions I draw well

Exposure against the time of now

Where some dwelt by choice against

That tide of mammalian regaled tribe

And feel I could that embarrassment

Not of rejection but of the obviousness

Of her inability to see me and think

That my feelings matter, because they do

And instead I gave some kind gesture

To a monster who abuses, obviously

And judged not my own sense of self

To protect those tender feelings of me

And instead by choice I entered hell

Some lash against myself to draw blood

And prevent that from happening again

Fucking stupid mammal with lust hold

But instead of surrender to that fear

Confront it I will and demand safety

From that terror of deep rejection

By learning from subtle prod of ill.

Thanks for reading this poem! A lot of males probably experience some of these emotions and thoughts when experiencing rejection mixed with humiliation. Self knowledge can be grown by these experiences and definitely should be grown to remain safe from cruelty and abusers.
