Shot by a School Shooter

a poem by Joshua Brown

Beautiful morning cast in foundries
Under the tremendous heat of the sun
Melting the icy black goo of mirage
That seduces children to shoot a gun

Black mirrors echo back your sophist
The spoken shards of boring rape
The everyday occurrence of normal
Sexual predation on her mind's gape.

Laugh it off, ye holy minstrel mirthy
For to live a victim is better still
Than to die as a predator by a God
His ambivalent artistic creative kill.

Stupid man among the shadows
As he crushes little child lowly
His own childhood surely broken
Normalized into predation slowly.

There is no Hell for you dear reader
For God forgets His story ephemeral
And your child abuse power trip
Is less than human, less than mammal.

This was such a heavy poem, may God have mercy on us for allowing these child abuses to continue in our cities and villages. As I grow older, I realize more and more just how much more evil our nation is than Sodom and Gomorrah.

If you were abused, I am so sorry for what you went through.
