Pay

Pay

by Joshua Coffman

“Patience is a virtue”, and with that I’ll agree.

The savings from a plastic card are a seal up in a tree.

For when you swipe that easiness, forgot the horrid fee,

You come to see an emptiness within all that you be.

Take cash, for sight, and you will pay for thief and robbery,

Excuse, I pray, my silliness and quite listen to my plea.

For as is ob-vi-ous and light a broken cup of tea,

Is less, much less, more valuable than that of a knee.

My lesson, you may ask, is what?

A warning to pay your bills,

Especially your Medi-care:

It just might save your gills.
